Our goal with HackVH is to inspire the next generation of technology and computer science leaders across the country to create applications, products, and services that will better our world. Projects must follow a theme that will be released when the hackathon starts. We will have many fun activites, beginner friendly workshops, and awesome prizes! Eligibility

We welcome any high school student to attend. Unfortunately, college or middle school students are not eligible. If you live outside of the U.S, we might be unable to ship physical prizes or swag to you. 

Teams may be up to four members; individuals may join to find teammates.

 

Requirements

A 3-minute video showcasing your app. It must be published on Youtube or another video streaming platform. Make sure that the judges are able to view your submission (Public or Unlisted).

    How creative is the idea of the product on a scale from something thats been done many times before to a completely novel genius idea
  • Execution
    How well polished and finished is the product
  • Viability of Product
    Can this product be released into the real world today with no problems?
  • Theme Adherence
    How well your project follows the theme (released on April 16)
  • Presentation
    Coherence and understandability of presentation and speaking of hackers.
